“Are your coaches ClearCoach Trained?”
Know Who
You're Coaching
America's first coaching training program built around the athlete — not the sport. Sport-agnostic, gender-differentiated, and age-banded for the developmental needs of every child.
Every cert tells coaches what.
None tell them who.
There are an estimated 60 million youth sport participants in the United States. The overwhelming majority are coached by volunteers with no formal training in developmental psychology, regardless of how many sport-specific or safety certifications they hold.
“You cannot coach a 10-year-old girl the same way you coach a 10-year-old boy. The developmental psychology, the emotional wiring, the way they process authority, failure, praise, competition, it's completely different. And zero existing certifications address that.
US Soccer Grassroots / Sport NGBs
Tells coaches what skills to teach drills, technical curriculum, sport fundamentals.
CDC Heads Up / SafeSport
Tells coaches how to protect players, concussion protocols, injury and abuse prevention.
NAYS / NYSCA: 3M+ coaches certified
General sportsmanship, safety basics, hydration. Most widely used cert in America.
ClearCoach Academy
Sport-agnostic. Gender-differentiated. Age-banded. Built around the developmental psychology of the athlete in front of you.
Coaching Done Right.
For Every Kid. For Every Generation.
We didn't build ClearCoach Academy from a boardroom. We built it from the sidelines, as coaches, as parents, and as board members who spent over a decade inside youth sports organizations watching the same problem repeat itself.
Great coaches. Wrong preparation.
The moment the kids in front of them were a different age, a different gender, or a different stage of development than they had ever coached before, even the most passionate coaches were left without a framework.
CCA exists to change that, not just for the coaches in the field today, but for the generation of parents who will one day pick up a whistle and give back to the sport they loved as kids.
What we build now changes how coaching is delivered for generations to come.
One Standard. Three Communities.
ClearCoach Academy serves the entire youth sports ecosystem, from the individual coach who wants to stand apart, to the league that sets the bar, to the parent who wants to know their child is in qualified hands.

Foundation, Belonging & Love of Sport
Built from the
Ground Up. For Scale.
ClearCoach Academy is not a course platform. We are a national credentialing organization, and we're building the infrastructure to match that mission. A purpose-built LMS engineered specifically for credential issuance, verification, organizational compliance, and national scale.
No off-the-shelf tool was designed for what we're building. So we're building it ourselves.
The credential is the product. The platform is the infrastructure that delivers, enforces, and verifies it at national scale.

Ben Speer
Co-Founder | Chief Executive Officer
More than a decade as a youth sports parent and coach, with children who have competed at every level, from local recreation leagues to elite programs coast to coast. A lifelong entrepreneur who has served on youth organization boards, helped schools and organizations build and launch new athletic programs, and most recently guided a Greater Houston school through the launch of a varsity program. CCA was born from years of firsthand observation, watching skilled, passionate coaches at every level struggle the moment the athletes in front of them were younger, older, or different than any they had coached before. That gap demanded a solution.
